I have been tagged!!

I am supposed to name 6 things that people don't know about me. So here they are. I hope that you aren't too freaked out by them.

1. I am still scared of the boogie man. I run up the stairs when I turn off the lights for the night, and I have to turn on all the lights when I am walking around the house! Adam and my Mom are the only ones that knew this and they always tease me about it!

2. I love to paint. I am always painting my house, or helping my friends paint theirs. I don't know what it is! I would paint my house once a month if Adam would let me. He of course hates to paint and hates it when I paint!

3. Well some of you might have noticed this, and wonder what is up... When I get new clothes, I wear them almost everyday for like a month or two, and then I never wear them again! It is so quirky.

4. I LOVE to watch Elle go to sleep. I snuggle with her every night so I can watch her wind down. Her mind is so active and she is always busy, I like to see her be calm and peaceful.

5. I sleep with my mouth closed because of that old tale about spiders crawling in your mouth. I know it is ridiculous, but I am in the habit and have been since 5th grade.

6. I LOVE SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS!! I have been known to watch Spongebob at night when my kids are in bed. I think that show is hilarious.

I Love My Nieces!!

I have 1, soon-to-be 2 nieces. I love them soo much I hate not being near them to see them grow and kiss them to death. Now I know how it feels! I plan on seeing them a lot in 2008. I love you Tessa (Nikki's daughter) and Mabel (Rachel's little one in the oven)!

Just a few pics I like.

I just got an email with these pictures from our trip to Utah this summer. I thought they were cute and wanted to share them. One is of Elle getting pampered at Gram's house. They wait on her hand-and-foot! Another one is of me and Adam's sister Nikki. I just love that girl, that is why I am posting it! And the others are of Gram and Elle, and Lauren, Sparky (Adam's Bro.) and the cousins. We had so much fun seeing everyone.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

We got our tree up and the rest of our decorations, which isn't much. The girls are so excited for Santa to come. They wore their Christmas dresses to church and I tried to take some photos of them, but they weren't too into that idea right after church, but they cooperated long enough to get a few. Hope everyone has a very merry holiday.

Adam's Birthday Surprise

It was Adam's 30th birthday a couple of weeks ago. He was actually traveling from Madrid on his birthday, so we celebrated it the next day. His brother, Clark, came down from NYC with 2 of his friends and visited Adam for a couple of hours. Adam was so happy to see his brother. When he left, Elle said goodbye and told Clark that it was nice to meet him!? Where does she come up with this stuff? She is already dish'n out the Jewish/Mormon guilt! Clark come see us again!

Talent Show

I was called into the Primary Presidency 2 weeks ago. I was excited but it was 1 week before there was to be a talent show for all the primary kids. Not much had been planned, but I think we pulled it off. Elle did "ballet" to the Nutcracker. Basically, she just jumped around the stage. It was so cute! I was so sad we forgot the video camera:(

This is a Westie

To answer Jocee's question, a Westie is short for West Highland White Terrier. I was in a weird mood one day and next thing I know, I have a dog in my car! I have no idea what I was thinking. She is a good dog, but a puppy is like another child! She is still in her awkward stage, but she will get a lot more hair and she will grow into her ears, hopefully. She keeps me company when Adam is out of town, which is often. I wish she was a nanny or a maid, like Jocee thought, but she is a DOG!!!

Starting Preschool

In mid-October, Elle started her new year of preschool. She was beyond excited to start. Ava was sad to see her go, but now I think she has begun to like her alone time with Mom.

Halloween Fun

We had so much fun this Halloween. Gram came to town for a few days and then we had 3 Halloween parties! Elle was in heaven. It is all over now, we have even eaten all the candy!
